today {an invitation}

liz lamoreux

i stood outside, bits of blue above and below, and soaked in the on the cusp of rain scent in the air and found beauty in the unexpected growth that appears when you let go of the to do list.

an invitation: pick up your camera and take a photo that represents today. then, share pieces of this day by finishing this phrasing: today...

then share on your blog or flickr and come back here and tell me all about it.

dare you.

the rhythm {an invitation}

coffee shop.
me + jon.
book edits/rewrites.
deep breaths.

an invitation: share a photo that captures the rhythm of your day.

how are things in your world? i would love to know. consider sharing a photo + a few words on your blog or flickr that capture the rhythm of your day. and then, i would love it if you would come back here and tell me all about it.

dare you.

in this moment {an invitation}

a backyard deep breath

in this moment, i am leaning toward all that is to come while letting go with each breath.

an invitation: go outside with your camera and take a photo of this moment (perhaps a self-portrait even). and then, finish this sentence: in this moment, i am...

then, share on your blog or flickr and then come back here and tell me all about it (share your link or your experience).

dare you.

this day.

this morning, i almost forgot me for a bit

life is full in this moment....which can be oh so very beautiful...

but also an invitation for overwhelm

and a current project had me in a full-on stop. start. stop. what is going on? start. stop.

so i took myself outside

and found yellow + wishes

and remembered

it is possible.

falling . april 3, 2009

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserve, but have never been able to reach. Check the road and the nature of your battle.
The world you desire can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.
