No, no, no! No more snow! Yesterday, I tried to get my car up the steep driveway after it snowed 5.5 inches in three hours. Got 2/3 of the way up, then while still in low gear, slid backwards to the bottom, luckily not hitting the house. I'm paying someone to do snow removal midday, because I've got dinner reservations and tickets for "The Color Purple" in Seattle with three of my friends tonight. NO MORE SNOW and much better driving conditions is the order of the day!

Liz,
It is the same here. We have about 4 new inches in the valley here.

At 9:20 am yesterday, my husband brought a yardstick to our front yard (in Spokane) and measured 21 inches of snow! And we've gotten about 4 to 5 inches since! (Yikes.) It's fluffy and gorgeous. I am so glad that I am pretty much done with Christmas shopping. I hope you're staying warm and cozy!

seeing these photos reminded me of a quote i read today in susan wooldridge's book 'foolsgold'...

"the moment one gives close attention to any thing, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious... indescribably magnificent world in itself"
-henry miller.
