Liz, thanks so much for your recommendations for Portland. I'll be sure to check out this crafty wonderland on Sunday--I'm sure we won't have headed back to Seattle by that point. And I'll ask about this goldfish thing as well. It sounds...intriguing.

This is a dandylion - I'd know it anywhere! When I was small I would play amongst them, make dandylion necklaces, sniff them to see if nectar landed on my nose (if it did, it meant I liked butter) and I was once stung by a bee who had landed on a dandylion I also chose to land upon. So, yes, I am seeing this dandylion in my context and I love them!
